Mission

Curriculum Integration and GIS Education Consulting seeks to empower educators and curriculum development by creating materials, offering workshops and sharing experiences that focus on integrating geospatial and instructional technology across the traditional curriculum disciplines.

Why listen to me?

First, because I've been there! "There" being the land of horrible tests, too many meetings, outrageous demands on your time and a will to make a difference.  I believe in sharing the wealth.  I don't own a patent on any of this technology or educational thought.  However, my experiences, curriculum and ideas to make the classroom a better place to learn and think are kid-tested and deliver results! I'm a 2009 graduate from ESRI's T3G (Teachers Teaching Teachers GIS) Institute.  Want to know more about me? GIS Friends

Pictured here on a field trip at the NCGE conference 2006 in Lake Tahoe, NV with my friend, Dr. Shannon White.  She's now at the University of Missouri, Columbia. In spite of the distance, we still enjoy collaborating on projects and hanging out at conferences.

 I love the chance to explore the globe with my friend, Dr. Joseph Kerski.  He's involved with a project at www.confluence.org.  It's great fun to visit a confluence with Joseph!  As he would say, "Get out there and explore the world!"
